Once upon a time...
Hello Brighty. How are you today? I am Elias from Cyprus. I will tell you a story. Once upon a time there was a beautiful island called Cyprus,in the Mediterranean sea.The island of Aphrodite, the beauty God. Until one day in 1974 Turkey invaded Cyprus and occupied 37% of the island. Twenty eight years later Cypriots still fight for freedom.
Bye bye now.

Once upon a time....
Hello Brighty.
My name is Soteroulla and I want to tell you about my country.
Once upon a time there was a small island in the Mediterranean sea called Cyprus. People in this country were very happy. They had their jobs, their families, their homes. But then in 1974 Turkey invated Cyprus and occupied 37% of the island. Many people, about two hundred thousand were forced to leave their homes and their jobs. About five thousand people were killed and there are also many missing. About twenty thousand people were enclaved. Now Cypriots fight for freedom. They want to go back to their homes and villages because they never forget their beautiful island Cyprus.
Bye now With love Soteroulla

A day with Brighty
Brighty came to my house. We played "Metal Gear solid 2" on the computer. We ate rice and meat. We played in the street with my friends and we rode my bike. My friends like Brighty.

Brighty in Old Riga
Brighty and bees were on excursion to Old Riga. We went up St. Peter's church and saw Old Riga roofs. We were in Riga history and Shipping Museum, too. We liked it very much. P.S. Rolands took pictures from the tower of 68 metres.

About Malta
Malta is an island. The capital city of Malta is Valletta. In Malta there are many interesting places such as the Silent city Mdina, Rabat and MarsaXlokk. This month is very important for us because all the people celebrate the Carnival feast. We dress many different costumes such as clowns, soldiers and many others. Here are some of carnival floats made by the children of Year 7/3, and their teacher Mrs Marisa Genovese.
